Suspect in Handgun Assault at Large Identified

Takoma Park Police detectives are looking to find the man pictured above, who they believe was involved in an assault with a handgun against a Public Safety Officer on September 26, 2018, in the Charlene R. Nunley Student Services Center at Montgomery College’s Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus.

The suspect is described as a brown-skinned black male in his middle or late 20s of average build, approximately 5-foot-7-inches to 5-foot-9-inches tall, with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a black and white Helly Hansen winter jacket, a red Adidas cap, black jeans, gray and white New Balance sneakers, and a brown camouflage backpack at the time of the incident.
