Ash Ibasan, Editor-in-Chief
Ash Ibasan is the editor-in-chief of The Excalibur, having first joined the newspaper as a staff writer in March 2024. Having previously studied civil engineering and architecture, she is now pursuing a double degree in computer science and data science. Outside academics, she volunteers to tutor ESL students in conversation and writing and teaches group ESL classes seasonally at the Washington English Center. She enjoys learning new languages to improve her communication skills and further her understanding of global cultures. You will see her unwinding with video games, exploring local cultures while traveling abroad, and delving into her passion for hockey in her downtime.
